Description

Digitization is a great way to increase access to your collections and help preserve them over time, but with so many bits to manage it's essential to have a digital preservation policy in place before you start scanning! Join Dr. Chelsea Denault, Coordinator for the Michigan Digital Preservation Network, for this webinar on creating and implementing a digital preservation policy. In this session you will learn what makes a good digital preservation policy, practice drafting a digital preservation policy, and understand future needs for keeping your policy current and relevant.

Instructor: Dr. Chelsea Denault is the Coordinator for the Michigan Digital Preservation Network

This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Library of Michigan.
