Libraries are always looking for revenue, and many are considering taking fundraising into their own hands. Should you? What are the legal considerations of municipal fundraising? Is Crowdfunding in your future? This session will discuss options libraries have for fundraising and how Friends' groups, Foundations and Libraries differ in their options and restrictions.
Participants attending this session will:
- Be able to distinguish the fundraising strengths between Friends Groups, Libraries and Library Foundations.
- Be able to identify fundraising options for their library.
- Be able to identify legal considerations for some fundraising options.
