Many of our collections contain audiovisual media, but it can be difficult to identify and prioritize the many formats that emerged throughout the twentieth century. Join Sarah Mainville, Media Preservation Librarian at Michigan State University Libraries, for this webinar on preparing for an audiovisual digitization project. In this session you will learn to correctly identify and describe audiovisual media in your collection, how to safely store your audiovisual collections, and explore different avenues of funding audiovisual digitization projects.
