It is harder than ever to capture an audience’s attention. We decide in around 17 seconds if we like what we are reading. April introduces principles from the book, Smart Brevity, to help communicators say more with less words.

In this interactive program, we will fine-tune our writing skills, creating concise and engaging material for our readers.

In this program you will learn how to:

• Craft concise emails, evaluations, and presentations
• Grab their audience's attention
• Make your social media posts pop

Instructor: Dr. April Williams is the Director of Lancaster County Library in South Carolina. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from the University of South Carolina and her Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of Alabama. April recently obtained her Doctorate of Christian Leadership from New Covenant University. She is a speaker and author, who challenges individuals to make personal growth a daily priority.
