Description

Digitization is a great way to increase access to your collections and help preserve them over time, but with so many file formats and technical aspects it can be difficult to know what the right choice is. Join Biz Gallo, Statewide Digitization Initiatives Coordinator at the Library of Michigan, for this webinar on selecting the right file format and specifications for your digitization project. In this session you will review best and "good enough" practices, identify appropriate file formats for both long-term preservation and access of digital files, and learn about color, resolution, and bit depth of digital files.
