Instructor: Maggie Rose is the Public Relations and Marketing Associate at the Barberton Public Library in Ohio. She manages all levels of library communication.

Maggie started library work in 5th grade as a shelver and volunteer in her school library. As a teen, she started shelving in her local public library and has held many library positions since. Maggie graduated summa cum laude from the University of Akron with a BA in English and a minor in classical studies. She received her MLIS from Kent State and has been working as a librarian for 10 years.

Maggie loves gardening, quilting, and camping with her boisterous family, which consists of a spouse, a boy, a girl, two dogs, 6 cats, one bearded dragon, and 11 chickens.

PCI Webinars are recorded and available to members of the Michigan library community in the Library of Michigan's Niche Staff Skills Academy about a week after they air. New webinars will be in the New category for several weeks. You do not need to register for a webinar in order to view it later in the Staff Skills Academy.

This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Library of Michigan.
