This playful interactive session will give you a guide on understanding the importance of morale and why it's essential in the workplace. Alli and Kim will help you identify low morale and provide practices and activities to boost morale through positivity. You will leave with guidance on how to maintain morale long-term.

Instructor: Kim Bryant Welch has over 20 years of supervisory experience, having worked for Brigham Young University, Orem Public Library and Idaho Falls Public Library. She is currently the manager for Salt Lake County Library's Granite branch. Kim started as a Children's Librarian, which means she's never afraid to look silly if it brightens someone's day.
Instructor: Alli Parker has been in public libraries for almost 5 years. She earned her BA in English at Illinois State University and began her professional career in small business and retail management. After receiving her MLIS from Dominican University in River Forest, IL, she started with the Salt Lake County Library System as a Youth Services Librarian at the Kearns Library in 2017. Alli is now the Herriman Library manager and enjoys YA Fantasy, trivia, and keeping work fun.
