Summary

Join Library of Michigan and E-Rate Central for a discussion of the Emergency Connectivity Fund Filing Window 2and the steps to take to prepare for the first Filing Window.

Description

On March 23rd, the FCC announced the dates of a third Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) Application Window and its intent to meet the needs of library staff & patrons who still lack access to connected devices and services required to sufficiently engage in remote learning. The short filing window will open on April 28, 2022, and close on May 13, 2022. Eligible connected devices and services are to be delivered between 7/1/2022 and 12/31/2023.

At the conclusion of this webinar, attendees will have a better understanding the ECF program’s rules, the services and equipment eligible for funding, and the program deadlines for receiving reimbursement. The steps necessary to take and documentation to prepare in advance of the Filing Window will be clearly detailed.
