Description

Libraries applying to the Library of Michigan for grants or continuing education stipends must now have a UEI (Unique Entity Identifier) number from SAM.gov. This is a new federal requirement for the use of federal funds and replaces the DUNS number.

This webinar will be a Q & A on the basics of what at UEI is, how and when to obtain it, and where to go for more information.

Attendees will understand what a UEI is, when it is necessary for LM grants and stipends, and where to go for more information in obtaining a UEI.

FYI, LM is unable to trouble shoot issues with SAM.gov.

Instructor: Karren Reish is the Library Grants Coordinator at the Library of Michigan. With a background in academic and public libraries, she has worked at the Library of Michigan as the federal LSTA grants coordinator for 18 years.
